Michelle’s self-care journey


Can you tell us about your journey and where you are today?

Before becoming a wellness entrepreneur and spiritual life & business coach, I went on a journey of healing and self-discovery. My journey started 10 years ago, and I see it now as a gift that came through my recovery from an eating disorder and a work addiction that brought me back to life.

I was a former fashion designer living in NYC, stylist, and entrepreneur. During those years I strived for success through being a real perfectionist – with work, my body and my lifestyle. It got to the point where my health suffered significantly.

It was a call to pause and disconnect – to reconnect by slowing down and going inward. This time of reflection sparked a journey of introspection where I found my connection to Spirit and developed a health & wellness lifestyle. This gave birth to a totally new me. In this process, I learned that self-love and care are the keys to living in alignment with the Universe. Through meditation, yoga, mantra singing, prayer, great teachers, mindful eating, among many other things, I discovered a new way of WELL BEING and living my faith.

 I started feeling the desire to create and share products, services and experiences that could serve as a companion or inspiration for people going through wellness or personal growth transformation. Years later, the same intention: to serve and share the light allowed me to join two people that I absolutely adore!! My business partners: Juan Jo and Julie. Together we developed Très Tropical. A spiritual brand that carries fashion & home decor products for a high-frequency life. Our latest collection is inspired in the metaphysical text called “A Course in Miracles” inviting the world to live a life of miracles by choosing love over fear, no matter what. In 2017, after attending Gabby Bernstein Spirit Junkie Master class level 2. I received a strong calling that opened my life to a new world as a spiritual, life and business coach. This led me to start The Mind, Body & Soul Stylist – where I help people integrate personal & spiritual growth to live a life and career aligned to their truth and desires.

What is your experience with wellness?

It transformed my life literally from the inside out- it sounds cliché but it’s the truth. Feeling good is something that comes naturally when you show up for yourself and start allowing your heart and body to guide you to what it needs in order to feel, be and move in an effortless and healthy way. Sometimes, one can get the impression that wellness is something you do during the day: a class, a meal but it is so much more than that- it’s a way of living that allows you to live a better and happier life.

What are some of your favorite CARAVAN classes and why?

Each class has its magic. I guess it depends on the schedule and feeling of my day… I’ m going to share some of the formulas I’ve been using lately.

AM Full Body Circuit Challenge!!! Totally recommend this – it will give you a good workout that you can squeeze in your day. Followed by the Focus Meditation.

NOON I also enjoy the movement section very much it’s a great way to disconnect and just let your creativity flow. Recently I tried Barre Sculpt, followed by Mid-Day Pause and Reflect and then back to work.

MID AFTERNOON I love the series for the office like Release Tension At Your Seat. Quick little things I can fix into my day, that allow me to stretch and feel better right away.

EVENING Two of my favorite are the Sleep Peacefully Meditation or Unwind Your Day.

And if I’m traveling definitely doing the Airplane Release.


How has incorporating wellness into you daily routine improved your lifestyle?

It brings me back into alignment. Gives me focus, motivation, energy and flexibility to stay open and receptive to the experiences of the day. My wellness routine is the way I reconnect with my truth: LOVE. The difference between the days with versus without my wellness practice are radical. Without my daily routine I feel disconnected, a mess! It’s like something is off.
